Well, I didn't start this school year with the most grace, but what is the point of wearing cute underwear if no one gets to see it, hm?

So, fellow Gooseberrians, what embarassing things did you get up to this summer? Dare to make us blush?

It's all in the past now, so we can have a good laugh about it.

Uh, let's see, embarrassing... I got into a serious argument with Mina about a bunny rabbit, which in retrospect is ridiculous.

Was the rabbit okay?

That rabbit is more than okay, he's spoiled.

Did it do something to you? To her? (Are bunnies and rabbits the same thing?) I think I heard about a vampire bunny once. Was it a vampire?

This is definitely a bunny (and not the vampire kind), it's one of those mini breeds that look like babies forever. He's Mina's pet and she caught me in her room holding him. The drama.

Perhaps she was afraid the poor thing would succumb to your wily charms. Some people do say you are the more pleasant sibling of your complicated little clan.

I fell into a "manhole" in New York this summer. I think they could have come up with a better name for it than "manhole."

But I guess I'm a man who fell into the hole so it was aptly named.

But there also weren't any other men down that hole that I could see when I did fall so I still don't get why they called it one of those. Isn't naming it a "manhole" but then saying "men, don't fall down the hole" kind of pointless? Doesn't men falling down the "manhole" make it into a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Ursula, these are only some of the important questions of our time.

They could have called them:

Sewer portals
Forbidden holes
Closed openings
Like a Portkey, but dirtier and smellier and way worse
Pit trap
Shoddy trench
This Is Not a Floo
No-Maj city shortcoming

It's okay to experiment with manholes while you're still discovering yourself. Some of them aren't for the faint of heart.

Hi, Ursula! I'm Pippa and I'm new to Ribbonfin but I don't think I want you crushing anybody. I mean, I hope that won't even be necessary?

I hope it won't be either, duckling, but there's certain students who forget that this is an institution of learning and not fulltime daycare.

If crushing isn't your style, I'm also available for eating emotions as long as my shoulder stays dry.
