Happy Birthday!! I’m sure you had a lot of fun in Mexico and stuff ♥ I don’t want to get too sappy or anything but I’m really going to miss you next year. I know we’ll write and stuff, but it’ll be hard to just not come run and find you whenever I need you. But I bet you’ll like being out in the real world, even if you don’t have your little sis there with you.

[Inside the wrapping is a glittery pink frame with a moving photo of Hazel riding on Ty’s shoulders from this past year. The frame itself is charmed to display text, in Hazel’s handwriting, along its lower border to respond with some canned phrases to anything written on the top border. If the question is simple or straightforward enough the response will be appropriate (‘I love you’ yields ‘I love you too loser!!’), but anything outside of basic questions or statements will probably result in some pretty ridiculous responses. Phrases include ‘I miss you sooo much big bro,’ ‘ok but wtf,’ ‘lmao,’ ‘CHEER IS LYFE,’ and ‘put some more sparkles on it,’ among other things. The last statement remains on the frame until it's cleared by scratching it out, after which it fully disappears.]
