DON'T BLAME ME FOR MESSING THINGS UP I AM EXCITED AND CONFUSED AT THE SAME TIME.

So, my dad has an office next door to one of the MACUSA reps for NY. Who has a Squib daughter at Julliard. Through whom dad found out that they're now introducing a small, exclusive wizarding music programme where you take some basic classes with the muggle students but also take magical extra courses in a secret part of the building and OH MY GOD ACTUAL JULLIARD.

That's so exciting! What's Julliard?

It's a music and drama school in NYC. Basically one of the top arts schools in the country.

Oh! Then that's even more exciting! Will you have to do an audition to get in?

Oh yeah, of course! The muggle side of the school gets over two thousand applications for every place, or something like that, but because this is a new trial course they don't know what to expect. So it looks like a regular application, an essay and at least one audition. Possibly two or three for the people who progress further. Dad says they're still designing the audition programme.

Two thousand? Wow, that's crazy! But I'm sure you're good enough to get in, no matter how many people apply!

Oh yeah, I mean, big country. But at least with cello I stand out a bit more than some of the other instruments, and I have experience with using magic in music and I'm pretty sure my essay will go pretty well if I talk about my project... so fingers crossed!

Well, if I get in, but yeah... That would be pretty great! I mean, they have amazing links to orchestras worldwide and all sorts.
