I'll have you know, Downing, it's been a while since I've received a concerned ward about Rafael from an Azurcrest and there have been a few developments since the last one.

I'm not gonna snap at him, and it's not because I just realized that Oz zawhatever his name is, I can't write while looking at his name at the same time, just called me Playground to play off of Park, and it amused me.

Ramirez is obviously trying to be funny. Why the fuck would I snap at him for that?

But I do like when you get orderly, but also somehow remain concerningly approachable.

It's cool. Sometimes you need to let a fire start before you rush to put it out, buddy. Being on high alert for escalating situations is a very strenuous process. But I appreciate your lack of bias, Downing.

My instincts are usually pretty good. And for what it's worth I didn't think it was a given that you were going to be upset by it or snap or anything, I just didn't want to lead with "it's just a joke" in case you were upset.

I know. I wasn't being sarcastic. Jokes don't make me upset, but it's also not often that a prefect interferes on my behalf. I was being serious. I appreciate your lack of bias.

But Raf's also done me a solid since the last time I fucked him over on a journal entry. So I'm trying this new life style choice of not being an asshole to him. Him trying to joke is a good sign.

when you're selected as one of the few prom prince nominees, and you make posters to campaign, choose to break this stupid trend and not use glitter, and that will be a good enough substitute for the word hate for me.
