Personally, I feel truly lucky that we have such a valuable source of support in the anon post every month. Students get to ask questions they might be too embarrassed to bring up in person, and get some straight answers for once. Not to mention it's totally healthy to get everything off your chest and vent. I always think the sun shines a little brighter over Gooseberry the morning after an anonymous post... but maybe that's just me.

Also, whoever invented the self-inking quill was a genius.

I'm not trying to be an asshole here, Davenport. I just don't want blame placed where it doesn't belong. And it doesn't belong on our team. I don't agree with what was said and I doubt many of the others do either. And it's certainly not a tactic to fuck with you. That's all.

Kinda sucks but also whatever? People will believe what they want to believe. It was surprising that it wasn't her. It could be her friends, too. It could be someone who hates me because I did something that upset them. It honestly doesn't matter. It's a game, and we'll keep playing the best we can and see what happens.

Let's hope you get Captain instead. Or Solo. I mean I can't see Ulysses or Clem being happy that Solomon was made captain but I also can't see anyone being mean to Solomon? And if they were, I don't see it effecting his ability to lead?

I guess in those cases though, whichever one can get over the petty shit is probably the one who deserves Captain, but may be better suited to handle the other person getting captain.

They both could be great captains. Clem has being a Captain already under her belt, though. I'm glad I'm not the person who has to decide who becomes Captain next yer for Azurcrest or Ebonhide. Both will be tough choices.

It's not gossip so much as it is the need to try and hurt people? Like, there's a whole group that are just intentionally mean. I know it's "trolling" and "bullshit" but that's what I don't like about here, I guess. That's everywhere high school though, I'm sure. What is it you don't like about Gooseberry? Or I mean, what you think the biggest problem is?

Key would be a great Captain, he breathes Quidditch. I think Delgado or Castillo could do well too, though. They have a strong set of JR players going on to be Seniors, with equal experience and skill. I really don't know, though. Next year's going to be interesting, though!

Azurcrest has plenty of solid players, but I wouldn't trust Key, Castillo, or Delgado to stay focused long enough to be effective captains. Hobbs, though, has some potential and she's a hell of a beater. She'd be my pick. But it's hard to know what'll happen or how people will adapt.

Not all of them do it anonymously, though. But yeah, the... Anon thing is kinda terrifying. That and the weird ghosts.

I don't know, they both definitely have the skill. Hobbs is a great player but I don't know if she's got the drive for it. I honestly have no idea for either Ebonhide or Azurcrest. There's a lot of good options.

Plausible deniability ties everyone's hands, though. So it's still a waste of time to monitor it or respond to it. Put your journal in the fucking trunk next time and save yourself the headache, that's my advice. In case you want it.

I'm not afraid. But there are a lot of things going on here that we don't understand and people need to stop treating it like a game or letting themselves get led around by the heartstrings. It's dangerous.

Thanks, but again - I really didn't get upset so its okay. I'll probably do it next time anyway just to enjoy a fun little get together. Or maybe we'll do another cabin bonding time or something instead.

The ghost kind of freaked me out, I won't lie. I was worried about Ulysses but he seems [...] okay, mostly. Mostly I ignore it, because it doesn't really affect me if I'm not actively thinking about it but I worry sometimes about people like, you know, Ennis. And a few other people, but mostly Ennis. There's a few students who put this thing up on some pedestal and think it's so innocent but... even if it is, its hurt people? It breaks into our cabins. Steals stuff or leaves stuff. I don't know.
