Happy Humpday! I want to thank Ribbonfin for hosting a lovely evening. I'd especially like to thank Little Miss de Luca for getting the ball rolling!

I hope last night's ghost stories didn't spook anyone too badly. 'Tis the season for gettin spooked, but don't let Halloween cheer get in the way of your studies. Syllabus week is well passed and I know many of us are coming up on our first real essays for the semester, so please reach out if you're feeling overwhelmed. I find a bit of extra planning soothes the nerves, so I've drawn up a little guide. I have extra copies for anyone that would like one!

That sounds like a great idea! Definitely a nice change of pace from the wilder parties. I'm sure our younger students would ADORE that.

Perhaps we could ask the drama club to help as well? It would be nice to have some of the students show their peers some tips and tricks on sewing. I know we have a few good costumers around!

I'm a bit stunned by some of their relaxed attitudes, but it is Katya. I can't believe they're taking the spiked hot chocolate incident so lightly. Am I overreacting? It just sounds like Azurcrest took over the party once again and made it about their drug habit. I don't care what they do as long as they do it in the Grotto. What if Mr. Hightower or one of the other staff members came up to check on us? It was supposed to be a cute and fun party and they ruined it the moment they slipped alcohol into underage children's drinks without their knowledge.

You are NOT overreacting. I didn't realize the whole cauldron was spiked, but I guess I wasn't really paying a lot of attention. I just wanted Katya and her groupies to go be annoying somewhere else, though it seems that is too much to ask. I should have kept a closer eye on things. I feel like I let you and Ravi down. I'm not very good at this :(

Do you know if any of the younger kids actually had any of the spiked hot chocolate? I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary (all things considered), but I left early.

Oh, just how you'd like the essay to flow. Hook, intro, thesis, first body paragraph, quote, explanation, thread sentence, etc....The box could stand to be a smidge larger, I think.
