Promposal.
It is, by all accounts, a normal exciting day for the LARP club. During a lull in the story, however, a freshman arrives, dressed like what appears to be a royal messenger. She weaves through the participants, asking for the location of Narain. The girl insists that the message she carries is to be delivered directly to Narain Vachan, and makes a point of refusing to hand over the large scroll to anyone else.
Upon finally being directed to Ravinder Dhaliwal, she bows grandly, and opens an elaborate golden scroll. She reads the contents aloud with an impressive flair for the dramatics.
Ravi is allowed to keep the scroll (it smells of figs and cedar), and might note that this is a letter from a character he and Diego have talked about in private. A naive lordling who Narain once seduced for information, but has secretly grown increasingly fond of. The wording of the letter suggests that Constantino may be in peril! Is Narain willing to take such a risk?!?
Meanwhile, Diego watches for his reaction from behind some trees. He'll be sure to thank Xavier Lewis for helping him pull this off.

Embarrassed, but not displeased. He accepts the scroll with a little bow, and tells the "page" to inform her lord that Narain thanks him for the invitation, and will be at his service on the 26th. "Tell him that I expect payment," Ravi adds, grinning. "A dance will do, for starters."
He clutches the scroll to his chest after she leaves, and breathes in the scent of the paper when he thinks no one's looking anymore.
