So, you know what was super weird? I was in the lodge, looking out of the window, like you do, and I see somebody sitting on the docks. That's not the weird bit. Because you see, he's there curled up and absolutely sobbing his damn eyes out, practically hardly moving at all.

Because I'm not an ass, I go grab my stuff and RUN down there. And I literally mean running because holy cow, seriously, this kid looked so distraught I thought he was on the verge of hurting himself. And when I get down to the docks, not only has he COMPLETELY VANISHED but I ran into a group of bb Ribbonfins (I recognised the person, by the way, did I not mention that? Ribbonfin!) and they said they hadn't seen him all day.

I AM SO CONFUSED.

Although I rather feel like we'd all know if someone died at this school. Gooseberry's only been open for ten years, that's not very long to obscure any record or memory of a student drowning.
