Good luck this weekend, Ribbonfin! I'm sure the whole house will come out to support our Quidditch and Cheer teams as they face off against Azurcrest. Now, I don't know much about broom-flying or human pyramids, but I do know about cheering on the best team in the school, which is why I will be out there in green and copper, passionately... making sure no one causes trouble in the stands.
Sorry, I have to leave the yelling and chanting "Ribbonfin!!!" to people with louder voices. ;)

[WARDED TO RIBBONFIN PREFECTS]
By now, most of you have seen the discussion in Rafael Ramirez's journal. I made my position quite clear there, but it's important to me that everyone in this house feels we're on the same page.
Perhaps I seem like I'm overreacting, given that technically nothing got out of hand and no one was hurt at the campfire, but I'm not willing to wait for something worse to happen in order to prompt action. As I said, this is our home, and as Magdalen said, allowing these things on the campground sends the wrong message to everyone. I don't wish to cast blame on the other houses for bringing contraband into Ribbonfin. We are notoriously the easiest house to prefect, but we have our share of troublemakers too, and it would be arrogant to pretend that no one ever does wrong here.
As a senior prefect, I will rarely, if ever, make demands of the rest of you. I trust you as much as Mr. Hightower trusts you, and he has always exercised good judgment in choosing prefects. We all approach our responsibilities differently, and you have done an exemplary job so far. However, I ask for solidarity in enforcing this change of rules, for our house and for the other houses who have requested stricter standards. This decision may prove unpopular, but everyone will accept it better if we present a united front. As always, you will have the support of myself and Sun-mi if any issues arise.
Thank you.

[WARDED TO CECIL HONEYCHURCH]
Cecil. I feel I should apologize for getting curt with you a few days ago, in Rafael's post. It was inappropriate, and not the way I want to be communicating with you or any of the prefects, especially if this or any similar issues come up again. I know I should've said this earlier, but I [...] had things on my mind. Anyway, I'm sorry.

[Ribbonfin Prefects]
Not a prob, Ravi, I'm behind you all the way. Let me know if you need some muscle enforcing these incredibly reasonable rules.

Please don't let this news leave this ward, but last I checked, Cecil intends to put these rules into effect in Azurcrest too. Now, I still don't think "being the bully" is necessary at all, as impressive as your loudness and muscles are, but those Azurcrest prefects may need our help.

Feeling good about Sunday, Zoey?

Anyway... yes. Exciting, but loud. We Ribbonfins tend to sit together in the stands, and if you come join us, I promise we are the least rowdy of all the houses—and not because I'm there, being a terrible killjoy.

Honestly, I feel like I'm the one that owes you an apology. I was wrong. I've been wrong ever since I took this position and did nothing to improve the situation. What happened the other night should've have happened and I shouldn't have been so casual about your concerns either. You just wanted to take care of your housemates and you were right to do it, even if you had to be a little curt.
I've been talking with Maggie, as well as Quinn and Jesse, and Azurcrest is going to be adopting policies similar to those of the other Houses very soon. I'll probably the news to the others on Monday. (Wish me luck?)
[...]
Think you and I are okay?
Ravi/Cecil
Anyway, it's fine. We all know you have a lot more to deal with in Azurcrest, and you've tried to be a good prefect ever since sophomore year. But I'm glad all the houses will be united in this. It sends a stronger message about what the student culture should be, and it'll be easier for everyone to enforce the standards with all prefects on the same page.
I'm wishing you luck, but I doubt you'll need it as much as you think. Everyone in Azurcrest respects you. Some of them will complain, because they've gotten used to doing things a certain way, but I imagine quite a few will rally behind you. They love that house as much as you do. It'll work out.
