At dinner on Thursday, all seems to be normal. Marilyn doesn't even look nervous, or overly concerned, though those who know her well might notice the anxiety in her movements and the slight twitch in her smile. No huge promposal is going to go down, but asking someone you like in any sort of public way is still incredibly terrifying.
Once she notices Ollie sit down at her usual table, she discreetly flicks her wand in the pretty brunette's direction. Instantly, and seemingly out of nowhere, a veritable cloud begins to move across the cafeteria. People looking up see that it's not some weird freakish rainbow cloud ready to unleash another quarantine-inducing plague, but a collection of origami animals. Some are cutesy and meant to be adorable fodder basically, while others are carefully and artfully crafted. Once the menagerie reaches Ollie, the animals land on the table and begin to dance. Music plays from somewhere, though it's not in plain sight as to what makes it. Nor would it be obvious if you're not looking directly at Marilyn who's doing this.
After the song is over, or whenever Ollie reaches out to grab one of the animals and unfold it, she'll see the words 'Will you go to prom with me? written in glittering script and signed with a simple M. The animals that are simpler in design will have the question written all over the outside too.

It's probably obvious by the smile on her face, but she says Yes clearly and loudly enough for her voice to travel to cement the answer. Of course she'll go to prom with marilyn.
