AZURBEST TEAM EVER!!!!
OK OK I know you were all being SUPER COOL and FLYING LIKE TOTAL BADASSES, so lemme give you the ON THE GROUND VIEW of how you all did (hope you don't mind, Captain Gray!!!!): you were awesome. Jefferson, Levi and Jaime were awesome and also the most handsome Chasers out there obv. Ree and Sofia were extra awesome and totally terrifying, like I would not want to be the one you're aiming for (or would I??? 😘). Dru was extremely awesome, like a lone gunslinger standing in a hostile desert road at dawn, just her versus a horde of bandits and nothing but a pair of six-shooters at her side, which in this metaphor is like the Quaffle's the bandits (or bandit singular? just like one really persistent bandit???) and her six-shooters are... her hands? OK so, that got away from me. And LAST but NEVER LEAST is our astounding, beautiful, talented, Amazon-like in both stature and achievement, CAPTAIN GRAY!!!!! That was a good catch. That was such a good catch, just like the way you've CAPTURED MY HEART. 💖
I got like half the game on video if anyone wants to see it later. My batteries ran out so I kinda lost that AMAZING SNITCH SNATCH but next time, I'll be prepared I swear!!!
Is there gonna be a party? We HAVE to party right???
[Cole]
Thanks for the origami, man!!! I kinda figured I wouldn't play (like if they were gonna put anyone in, it'd be Quinn for sure bc she's a badass) but I'm gonna treasure this thing forever. Like on my desk, which OK it's a really messy desk, so maybe I'll clean a corner of it for my COLE MOSS ORIGINAL. I swear this cool lil bird looks like it's gonna FLY OFF at any minute.
Sorry your house lost tho but they played REALLY GOOD. Did you go to the game????

But hell yes to the party.

How do parties happen? I can't believe I've been in Azurcrest for a whole year and I don't know the answer to this yet, but it's like, I just go out my door sometimes, and we're already partying.

I find it's usually enough to yell "PARTY?" at the top of my voice. But most of the time it's not necessary: in Azurcrest the party never stops.

It's like our Marco Polo, except both the Marco and the Polo is just PARTY. PARTY? PARTY!!!!

[Charlotte]
Yes. I know. But OK, what do you mean here: me being an athlete or me being a nerd? WHAT'S YOUR TYPE, CHAR?
no subject
[Micah]
Am I NOT allowed choices and options Micah. CAN I NOT like both the nerd you and the athlete you. GOSH! don't question my love OR YOU WILL PUSH ME AWAY MICAH. DO YOU WANT THAT HUH DO YOU?

HA HA I'M JK of course it's you, Levi. Sometimes I put my hands under my chin during mealtimes and spend a solid minute thinking about how dreamy you are.

TELL ME ALL ABOUT YOUR KoLG THEORIES THOUGH.
no subject
I mean, this is a classic movie trope, right? Vicious killer stalks hormonal teens at idyllic summer camp. But I've GOT A THEORY that stuff which is tropes for muggles has its history in FOR REAL WIZARDING SHIT (e.g. vampires, I don't need to tell you about vampires), so OK maybe at a muggle summer camp this is like a CHILDREN'S BEDTIME STORY, but at wizard not-summer camp it's WELCOME TO MURDER TOWN. Like let's talk power of belief, man. If enough of us magical teens believe (and ~I WANT TO BELIEVE~) then maybe our TOTALLY HAUNTED WOODS might go, hey. Hey. Bullied-teen-turned-axe-murderer is a thing these kids want.
Also these things are always a morality tale so if anyone's getting taken out first, you know it's Azurcrest. Those stories claim to be about BULLYING but it's really always about TEENAGERS ARE SHALLOW AND HAVE TOO MUCH FUN.

Alright, I'm going to take your theory and stick it in my back pocket for later. You're absolutely right, Azurcrest is a prime target for a spooky axe murderer ghost. It's always the loose partier types who are offed first. HOWEVER, do you think Monster/Supernatural enthusiasts like us have a higher or lower chance of surviving?

Jaime.
Micah/Cole
it's not a big deal. everyone played well (i assume?) and at least we lost to a friend-house instead of a rival-house. i went and sat with ravi and the others, so it was fun anyway.
congratulations too! (i almost forgot that!)
Micah/Cole
Man, is there anyone who isn't a FRIEND-HOUSE to Ribbonfin tho? Everyone loves you guys, I swear, even Coppertale, and they don't like anyone. But yeah thanks Cole!!!!! I'd LOVE to play this year but not if it means someone's gotta get hurt or sick, you know? So for now I'm just TOTALLY JAZZED that my team won anyway.
OH YEAH and I hope it's all cool in Ribbonfin too. I dunno if you guys are the "party when you lose" types.
Re: Micah/Cole
that does make it hard to hope. does anyone ever just sit out by choice because they're busy or hung over or something? maybe then! even if you don't play this year, you'll be a shoo-in for next year i bet.
i don't know either? i missed most of the games last year, so i'm not sure. we'll see?? if we do, though, i don't think i'll go.

Ree was super awesome!!! It was such a fun game to watch!

That would make for a great mini-comic. Like - would the broom double as a Winchester? Or it could convert into one - like one of those really fancy canes with the swords in - but with a rifle? Be kind of be dangerous to fly on, though.
