I have approximately three more attempts to learn how to walk in the stiletto heel shoes/torture devices Mummy has sent for me to wear to the prom. After which I may use them as target practice for my incendiary and blasting curses because I hate them.

That being said, they are very well-suited for my character theme for this dance, and I do not wish for any more failure than I have already faced this week. If you have any tips or instruction for wearing these, I would be most appreciative. [. . .] Even if heels this high are ridiculous and impractical and silly all the same. I do realise this. But that is neither here nor there.

I believe I finally have an idea for my character for this dance, unless you would like to be surprised. But I am not as talented an actor as you so I have planned it out quite well.

I would not wear stilettos if you PAID me just ditch them

It feels like accepting failure if I do. Even if I would much rather blast them into a million pieces at the moment but successfully conquering the task of walking in them will feel much better than the thrill of destruction.

So perhaps I can learn to walk in them before it comes to that.

This whole event is all just ridiculous and now has me overanalysing how I walk.

The shoes are pushing you forward, so you've got to lean back a bit. That helps me, not that I do a lot of heel-wearing. The best part of these sorts of things is kicking off your shoes and dancing in bare feet, anyway.

I do not mind being called short, at least not enough to commit to wear heels this high anyways.

I may be wearing stockings but I have not decided yet. Stockings feet are much less fun than bare feet but it I wish to play my part I may have to.

I will need to practice in the cabin tonight. I do not wish for anyone else to see me topple over anymore.

I like heels well enough. Mostly because I like being taller and they make me feel extra sassy.

As for the walking? I really don't know. I just kind of [...] move? But I do move my hips a bit more, kind of helps with the balance. Especially if you lean back a little like Nia said.
