GUERILLA TWERKSHOP

Having been denied the opportunity to teach his fellow dancers proper twerk form during the Dance Open House, Casey Patterson takes matters into his own hands. The troops were alerted yesterday, and today, he and partner-in-crime Riley Stamper plan to teach the citizens of Gooseberry how to perform their provocative displays responsibly... and properly.

A stereo is set up in the Sorting Cave's amphitheatre and the workshop begins at 4pm promptly, with both demonstrations and hands-on (but not too hands-on) help for attendees. As they try to shake and shimmy, [VOLUNTEER A] backs up into [VOLUNTEER B] and knocks them over! They apologize profusely and help the other back onto their feet! (Could this be the beginning of a new friendship?)

The session is a "twerkshop" in name only, as it ends up being a lesson in not only twerking, but any style of dance (or "dance") that was deemed too inappropriate to teach at the Open House. You know how to ballroom dance, now it's time you learn how to shake that thing. Casey and Riley are dressed like this is a stop on the Prom Royalty Campaign Trail, wearing sparkling shirts that read "VOTE CASEY + RILEY." By the end of the workshop, Casey's ditched the shirt (it's hot outside!!!) and it's been picked up by [VOLUNTEER C], who's now wearing it.

This is the most casual IC/OOC ever. We just wanted you to know that it happened.

The Sorting Cave is off-limits!

Anyone is welcome to attend for any amount of time. In addition to demonstrations given on-stage, Casey and Riley wander through the little throng of dancers to provide one-on-one help.

If a dance battle for the title of Prom Duke is actually on the line (or just a dance battle in general, or maybe just a dance off in which nobody wins and everybody goes away happy and feeling good about themselves), Jeffy's gotta be PREPARED. Like a good student, Jeffy shows up RIGHT on time and is SUPER EXCITED to learn all of these crazy awesome dance moves. They are all crazy awesome aren't they? Yeah they totally are.

If any chickabros were thinking about going to this definitely not ridiculous class, Jeffy would have GLADLY dragged them along. HEY BRO, LET'S GO LEARN HOW TO DANCE.

Will totally came along and, like Jeffy, was definitely game to make a complete tit of himself.

This sort of event is a landmine. It needs to be policed. That's Nia's professed reason for showing up, at least. And, sure, she's keeping an eye out to make sure no one is made uncomfortable (hypocrite), but she also definitely participates - with the skill of someone who spends a lot of time dancing with herself in front of the mirror (sorry to her roommates). She's gotta perfect her form for prom.

Omg this is the best cabin canon I've ever seen. Vee totally would crash the dance party any time, Nia!

Okay yeah. Vee needs to be here for this. She knows how to dance, but twerk? Please teach her, mighty booty shake experts!

She pays close attention to instruction, yes meaning she's watching butts ;), and is an avid student. Vee doesn't care if she is the best twerker or not, she's just having tons of fun. And will dance with anyone and everyone so. ALL THE DANCING

Pippa is mostly here to ~~ogle~~ observe, and is trying to keep the giggling and blushing to a minimum, but could possibly be talked into attempting to twerk! ("Attempting" definitely being the right word.) It looks fun, but she doesn't know how to move like that?? Everyone is so talented! And cute! And oh look Casey just took his shirt off!!

Reece is also here. To make sure nobody goes in the Sorting Cave. He is not participating. He's reading a book.

Calvin's curiosity gets the better of him.

But when he shows up, he gets an eyeful of shirtless, twerking Casey Patterson... and immediately turns around and leaves. Goodbye, everyone. Goodbye forever possibly.
