I'd appreciate some, like. Advice. As to how you would handle it from a prefect's standpoint if one of your roomies and one of your besties are two of the people doing seance shit and not mentioning corpse-ghost things to anyone for like a week after seeing it. Because I'm not sure how to not want to strangle them and get it over with but I'm fairly certain that's the wrong approach, professionally speaking.

I know this is all overwhelming, Ree. Especially because these are your classmates and your friends.

As a prefect [...] there isn't much more for us to do. The staff knows what happened and, I'm certain, spoke to them at length about the poor decisions that led to this and all the rules that they've broken. They're being punished and I doubt they'll do anything like this again. After what happened. But hearing the same from their prefect and their peer couldn't hurt if you want to talk to them. [...] Right now, I think the most important thing for the prefects is to be as vigilant as possible. I want to discuss everything with the other senior prefects and with the staff. See if there's more that we can do to keep everyone safe.

Outside of being a prefect [...] I know that you're angry. That they'd take a risk like this and lie about it and maybe make things worse for themselves by keeping quiet. But I know you're worried too and I think it's important to be there for them now. Because what they went through was awful and isn't something that any of them should have to deal with alone. I reached out to the three of them and told them they could come to me if they need to. I doubt they will, but just letting people know they don't have to handle everything on their own can be important. I don't imagine I have to tell you that, though.

I'm sorry I don't have better advice for you, Ree. Things lately have just been [...] bad. I probably don't have to tell you that I'm out of my depth. But if I can help or if you need to talk, I'm here. You're a good prefect and a good friend, Ree. All you can do here is try.
