IMPROMPTU LODGE FASHION SHOW

Laurel passed out a bunch of mysterious sparkly flyers during breakfast this morning. Those brave enough to appear at the lodge this evening to see wtf she was talking about ("A LIVING RETROSPECTIVE OF GOOSEBERRY FASHION," "FREE CLOTHING CHARMS," "BRING YOUR BEST LOOKS," etc) are greeted by a very earnest tiny lil catwalk transfigured out of some old cardboard boxes (there's definitely space to work it, tho, and it's .... very sparkly for what used to be basically garbage). There's also a "backstage area" composed of a wall of Laurel's best scarves and various gauzy items -- an attempt at privacy that can be furthered with the use of some giant fans she found lying around in props. Seats are also set up, a la your average runway show, with a handful of charmed lights in place to illuminate your swagger.

Laurel will "queue models" ("omg go!") and assist with some ... special effects ... if requested.

I'd also love a few brave and clever VOLUNTEERS to run some commentary under various participant entries, if they want. ♥ Hot or not? IN OR OUT? This is a SERIOUS FASHION EVENT and it needs some SERIOUS FASHION MINDS to weigh in and tell us what to think or what to know! (Laurel may also chime in, but I'm more tired than I planned to be ;-;) ((This is also dependent on if the player is comfortable, so there's an option in the form!))

HOW THIS WORKS

Use this as an excuse to dress your character up in whatever they feel like wearing (Halloween costume, prom dress, Masquerade outfit, favorite ironic t-shirt, the sky is the LIMIT y'all) and get them some attention via STRUT

Laurel (and any other charmsy costumesy folks that would like) will also be assisting with various clothing charms! Bring something that's broke and we'll fix it!

Participants are encouraged to go ALL OUT within reason -- we are in the Lodge, after all, and probably teachers know wtf is going on

If your character consents, there may be some ~special effects~ (really just an excuse for Laurel to practice various moving charmwork for her Senior Project). These might look awesome and they might not, but they are in no way dangerous or super embarrassing (except for POSERS WITH NO FASHION SENSE of course). I will also roll for these. It's a mixed bag!

I feeeeeeeeeel like music is being provided somehow -- it's probably some standard nondescript pseudo-sexy runway stuff. Your character can supply their own though if they wish! (Cue Laurel or someone else awkwardly fumbling with devices) ... Uhhhh let's handwave it for cuteness factor???

NAME: Zav Lewis
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?: I don't even fucking know but it took him forever to do it.
MUSIC?: Zav can't see anything, so he's just going to go with whatever's playing.
SPECIAL FX?: Yes. Let's get some confetti up in here.
SPECIAL MOVES?: Zav walks with remarkable confidence for someone whose entire face is covered by post it notes.
COMMENTARY: Yes, please.

Reid, sitting at the end of the runway, looks seriously concerned Zav might walk right off the edge of the catwalk.

Xavier mostly doesn't fall off the edge. He definitely does that thing where you expect a step to be there and it's not, but he recovers. Ish. There's some wobbling. It gives him enough time to spot Reid, though.

Zav peels off one of the post it notes on his arm and leans down to hand it to Reid before catwalk strutting back the way he came. There's a heart on it.

NAME: Dahlia Hale
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?: She's a BANANA IN PAJAMAS and she's very comfortable.
MUSIC?: And she's coming down the staaaairs.
SPECIAL FX?: Yessss
SPECIAL MOVES?: She walks exactly how she's supposed to. Like she's coming down those stairs. She's very committed to the accuracy of this bit.
COMMENTARY: Yes!!!

Also does anyone want to be the second Banana in Pajamas, it feels wrong doing this solo.

NAME: Ty Hawkeswood
WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?: Ty's strutting for Coppertale today! He's wearing the fox sweater he got from Hazel, fitted black jeans, obnoxious fox sneakers, and a fox hat. He may have a faux-fur tail pinned to the back of his jeans like a twit. (He definitely does.)
MUSIC?: TY IS A DIVA. Sorry. He'd like to strut to Lone Digger by Caravan Palace.
SPECIAL FX?: Dazzle him, Laurel! The more sparkles the better.
SPECIAL MOVES?: How can Ty not throw a little dancing and spinning and turning into his strut? He can't, that's how. It's vaguely electroswing to match the song he chose. Naturally.

...of course, Ty also has one more special move courtesy of the freshman class and trips epically when he's heading back up the runway. He falls on his face. He gets a bloody (but not broken!) nose. Did he deserve that for all the showing off? ...maybe.
COMMENTARY: Hit him!

"WORK IT," Robin yells and whistles for every model stomping that catwalk, sometimes calling out helpful tips. "YEAH GIRL, MAKE YOUR OWN WIND. SMIZE BRO, YOU GOTTA SMIZE." Robin watches America's Next Top Model. And there's nothing wrong with that.
