RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

"Kiss bingo?" Gabi asks, visibly confused. She genuinely does not know what Micah is talking about. It's cool, though, and she throws her arms around him and gives him a kiss on the cheek anyway. "Is that enough for kiss bingo?"

Marilyn definitely will allow this, and in fact giggles the entire time (Clem is smaller than her, after all) She makes sure to take a quick kiss to the cheek as Clem bids farewell. "I'll be waiting for you, my love!"

Xavier kind of hangs upside down halfway out of bed, hair dangling, because he is physically incapable of waking up like a normal person. He laughs heartily, and it sounds a bit nasally, because, yeah, upside down. "Ya know, we prob shouldn't mess with a tradition that has served us super well for three years running. I'm voting ignore it."

Micah leans in towards Todd, as though imparting a secret. "Jeffy Key, of course. Why not console each other over losing the crown, and do a little smooching?"

When Essie realizes that Lucas thinks they all have another plague, she decides to make things worse. "I'm not satisfied with just kissing anymore," she yells as she throws herself at him, "I need to suck out your brain too!" Except she is thankfully way shorter than Lucas is so this attempt to stick her tongue in his ear fails miserably unless he actually lets her scale him. Gross, Essie.

Bash, legs all twisted up like a pretzel, takes a moment to look very thoughtful. (It probably doesn't warrant a whole moment, but he's working on a bit of a delay here. Brain's feeling a bit strung out.) "We are really good at diseases." Which is honestly troubling. Somebody should probably look into that.

"You, um -" Assaulted? How does that - "No?" He reaches a hand up, eyes widening when his fingers skim the edges of his hair before they flatten it. Harshly. "Oh, wow. No. That's all me?"

She plants a gentle kiss to his cheek, laughing at the small lipstick stain she leaves behind. "Oops." She wipes the mark away with her thumb before taking a step back and frowning. "What ever am I going to do without you next year? No one else is as fun to dance with."

Lucas lets out a startled yelp and stumbles but still manages to catch Essie and stay upright. A feat. "My brain is my own!" He mock yells at her, laughing. It's the old Azurbaby Zombie Prank. Of course.

There will be no scaling today. Lucas is not the Empire State Building, even if he is almost as tall. He does spin Essie around a couple of times before setting her on the ground, though.

That'll teach her.

Except now he's dizzy, too.
