KISSING DAY

RULES

Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.

The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.

Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!

Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

"Niaaaaaaaaa" Vee sings, a grin on her face. "Can I get a kiss?!"

Name: Milo Greer
Receptiveness: Milo will give and take kisses on the cheek for friends and the like, since he wouldn't want to ruin dreams or cause loneliness, but his main smooching is reserved for a particular beautiful lady named Bianca.

Kenzie gives her sweet baby-but-actually-older-than-her cousin a smooch on the nose. ❤

Receptiveness: Ulysses, a bad and terrible person, is going to chase after his roommates for a game of Kiss Chicken. He just .... loves annoying them... so much. (Because he is a chicken, if any of them actually give in to his teasing, he'll almost certainly break immediately and like, blow a raspberry. Don't worry, guys. He already knows he's the cabin's best kisser.)

Kenzie, hopefully that wasn't too off-putting, because as the actual object of his affection, he'd very much like to kiss you for real.

"Micahhhhh" Ana sings back, but it's a much shorter name and therefore not as poetic sounding. "You have such a way with words." This is an obvious yes based on the smirk as she motions him forward for a good sound kiss.

Spying Cole, Ana smiles. "Cole! Kiss for good luck?" she asks, not wanting to bombard him with her enthusiasm for another excuse to kiss people.

Anuhea vehemently agrees and offers Neil a fist bump.

Kenzie wants some real kisses and will cheer on Ulysses' attempts to harass his roommates. She will call foul if any of them resist the charms of handsome and charismatic Ulysses Quayle.

"Wifey!!!" Ana exclaims, as if she hasn't seen her bestie in years. She kisses her on the cheek enthusiastically.

Name: Ryan Hertz
Receptiveness: Absolutely not.

Mackenzie Prince, you beautiful monster. You bring joy where e'er you go. At this point, Ulysses has hearts in his eyes.

Name: Beatrix Armstrong
Receptiveness: She will give kisses to those she feels are worth it and/or happens to like (pretty ladies get a little preference) She will be picky who she accepts from, but outwardly seems like she's amused with the holiday so the bitch is not projecting lol

Name: Mackenzie Prince
Receptiveness: Despite the fact that her actual affections are focused on one boy in particular, Kenzie can't resist an opportunity to be obnoxious. She's wearing bright red lipstick that's very hard to wipe off. I hope you're ready to wear her brand all day.

They're a match made in hell, but just one of the outer circles. Perhaps one reserved for mild annoyances, petty mean girls, and privileged rich brats.

If Ulysses doesn't stop her, he's going to have 3-6 very obvious kiss marks on his face and neck. She will insist it makes him look like a stud.

"For good luck." Xavier agrees, glancing at Reid with a smile that's a touch mischievous.

He turns, leaning one shoulder against his locker. "You know who could really use some extra luck? Me. I am, like, for sure in the market for luck today." Will making out with Reid help Zav ace his history final? Probably not. It will be worth it, anyway. He glances over his shoulder, trying to spot a less crowded locale. Is that classroom empty? What about that closet?

"Bet you could help me out." He says.

Riley is getting a kiss on the cheek, which leaves behind a bright red kiss mark from Kenzie's lipstick.

"Two," is all Nia says, in a correcting tone, before planting a firm kiss on both of Vee's cheeks. She grins as she turns her own cheek and taps it expectantly.

Receptiveness: Cameron is soliciting the heck out of kisses. Whether he wants to be extra lucky, or just that the smooch squad rides again, he's making his way around the whole school. He'll happily accept any level of kisses, from chaste cheek to full tongue. Kisses are kisses.

Kenzie isn't a sophomore, but she is a fan of Micah's work. "Remember me when you're famous," she says after kissing him on the cheek. He's also stuck with a bright red lipstick kiss mark.

The smooch squad rides again

Kenzie kisses her baby cheer bird right on the forehead.

I had to be in a long interview all morning but all I really wanted to write was fake kisses :(((

All roommates are getting a big cheek kiss. No one escapes without being marked by Kenzie's lipstick.

Two kisses, one on each cheek! "Go get 'em, Casanova."
