RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

Name: Lachlan Galbraith
Receptiveness: Lachlan didn't grow up in the wizarding world and always forgets that Kissing Day is a thing. Given that today he's also focused on studying for exams, he's even more inclined to forget and will remain blissfully ignorant in the library unless someone chooses to remind him.

If Riley finds him, she'll probably give him a kiss on the cheek without explanation, then bounce away. This is probably not completely out of the ordinary behavior for Riley.

Lachlan's still stressed after yesterday and this unexpected kiss from his friend puts a small smile on his face, even as he shakes his head and glances momentarily after her. He sort of needed that. Thanks, Riley!

Addy is still a little worried about him, after yesterday. She chooses to express this by studying quietly near him.
And of course, he is greeted with the tiniest peck on the forehead. She will adamantly tell Lachlan he doesn't need luck.

Lachlan is still on edge and still worth worrying about but he's doing (a little) better today and he's grateful for Addy's company...even if he's confused by the greeting kiss. Does he just look like a lad that needs kisses today? Regardless, he offers her a smile before returning his attention to his textbook and his color-coded notebooks.

Oscar definitely chooses to remind him - partially because he felt bad about what happened. So he gives Lachlan just a big hug. "Good luck, buddy. Kissing day tradition and all - I firmly believe hugs count. Also, I'm sorry I was a non-understanding dick."
