KISSING DAY

RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

Sofia approaches Ty with a little bounce in her step before curtsying. "Am I still allowed to steal a kiss from my dance buddy?"

Ty offers Sofia a small grin at this and taps his cheek. "Of course! Hit me!" He'll return the favor too.

She plants a gentle kiss to his cheek, laughing at the small lipstick stain she leaves behind. "Oops." She wipes the mark away with her thumb before taking a step back and frowning. "What ever am I going to do without you next year? No one else is as fun to dance with."

Ty laughs, making the job of wiping lipstick off his cheek considerably more difficult. He's about to speak when Sofia draws back and frowns, making the conversation suddenly more serious. He gives his head a little shake and steps forward to close the gap again, setting a hand on her shoulder and kissing her forehead. "There're a lot of talented dancers here. You guys don't need us old timers to have fun."

"You sound like you're going into a retirement home instead of graduating," she scoffs, though there's a slight grin tugging at the corners of her mouth. "Still, no one was nearly as fun coming up with routines with. Especially.." she pauses, deciding maybe it's best not to bring up the past and make things awkward, even if she is just teasing. She just shrugs and smiles. "I hope you get everything you deserve once you've abandoned us all for good."
