RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

Cole blinks a this and brushes back some of his dark hair. "I don't mind," he says slowly, then shakes his head, "Can I kiss you back? Or are you 'over people putting their lips on your pretty face'?" That's got to be a bigger problem for her than it has been for him today, after all. Her face is far prettier than his.

"You absolutely can, sweetie pie!" Ree says, beaming. "Are you kidding, I love kisses, they're like...the best. The best ever. C'mere."

Cole does, leaning across the small space between them and tilting his head and pressing a small kiss to Ree's cheek. He doesn't know about 'the best ever' but it's nice. He smiles back at his friend.

"Oh my god-" Ree starts, and she's going to say why the heck did Calvin give up kissing you when you're so fucking cute about it, but she catches herself, because she's growing as a person and now understands that being honest doesn't mean saying literally every thought that comes into your head. "You're adorable," she finishes instead, and then leans over to give Cole his own cheek kiss.
