RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

In a shocking twist, Levi is the first one awake (did he ever even go to sleep?) and he crawls up into Cecil's bunk and then on top of him for his early morning wake up call. His hair's a mess of curls and sticking up from where he went to bed with it wet, but his breath is minty fresh and he at least had the decency to put on pajama bottoms before venturing out from his Sin Den.

Perched on him like some sort of night hag, Levi grins down at him before swooping in to get right up in his face. If there are any personal boundaries left between them, Levi's forgotten all of them. "Do you remember what today is?" he whispers excitedly.

This is a shocking twist and Cecil gives a small start as Levi settles on top of him, almost nose to nose, and greets him with an exuberantly whispered question. Barely awake but just awake enough to smile at his over-eager boyfriend and lift his hands to cup his cheeks, he murmurs sleepily, "Exams?" Why that's anything to be so giddy about, though, he has no idea.

"Nooo," he replies coyly, then corrects himself after a beat, "Well, yes, but!" Levi nuzzles noses before pressing a kiss to both corners of Cecil's lips. "It's Kissing Day. I thought it'd be best if we got a head start."

Cecil laughs softly despite himself. Between exams, senior projects, and the potentially life-altering conversation he'd had with Levi yesterday...he'd completely forgotten about Kissing Day. He stretches and slips his arms around the other boy, but glances away sheepishly before he answers, "...we could. But there's morning breath to consider." How is there not a spell for this, honestly?

"What morning breath?" he lies, purposely avoiding kissing him directly on the mouth and instead veering to kiss his earlobe, his jaw, and down the length of his neck. Levi may have brushed his own teeth in preparation, but he didn't think about Cecil's.

A thought occurs to him. "Or are you asking me to sneak off to the showers with you while everyone else is asleep?" He gasps at the suggestion Cecil never made and pulls back to smirk at him. "Cecil, you cad."

Cecil recognizes this for the kind lie that it is but he quickly forgets to be self-conscious with Levi pressing kisses along his jaw and his neck. This is a very pleasant way to wake up. He brushes back the other boy's unkempt hair and strokes his fingers along the back of his neck, but doesn't get the chance to do much more before Levi's drawing back and grinning at him.

He blinks at the playful accusation, a hint of heat immediately visible in his face. "...You're right. I'm a cad. I'm sorry. What was I thinking?" As much as he'd like to, the suggestion isn't one he can consider. Even half-awake, he knows there's too much risk of getting caught there first thing in the morning. There' no way to know when the others will be up and moving and heading over to shower. Sorry, Levi.
