KISSING DAY

RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

Hazel gives Chris a peck on the cheek, still smiling brightly. "Alright, do me a solid and return the favor!" Once again, it's not really a request.

Chris straightens up, kisses the top of Hazel's head and then obnoxiously hugs her head to his chest and starts bemoaning how much she's grown and how he's such a proud father. None of those words include either of the words good or luck.

"Chriiiiisssss," Hazel whines, but even as she does so she's laughing, shoving ineffectively at the older Coppertale. "You're the worst, stop treating me like a baby."

Chris smooths back Hazel's hair, kisses the top of her head again and says wistfully, "You're gonna go far, kid" before finally releasing her.

This catches Hazel a little off guard, and her smile turns into her biting her lip as she glances off. "...don't get sappy just yet. That's for graduation."

Chris waits a very long beat and then says "....I was quoting a song," just a little bit awkwardly. And then him being aware that he went from obnoxious to awkward makes him feel more awkward because gross he almost got sappy accidentally. "Kay gotta go, not gonna get sappy at graduation so don't expect it." He definitely calls that over his shoulder because he's definitely fleeing from the scene.
