I'm thinking an alphabet code, but not as straightforward as we want it to be. Whatever number is assigned to D might equal whatever numbers are assigned to M and R, but we're just missing so many pieces of the puzzle still and I don't know how to translate that to the four seemingly random fucking numbers I need to unlock this stupid fucking box.

Feels like nowhere. I've tried hundreds of numbers and I just--maybe we can't solve the mystery but we can just get the boxes open by trying every number. 10,000 isn't that high. I could do it.
