Solo takes Sam's hand. "I want to see how Archie plays," he explains to her while also gesturing for her to sit. "The sophomores have all been practicing really hard, and they're playing really well so far. My arm's okay, it's okay," he adds somewhat distractedly, his already focused on the pitch. He squeezes her hand comfortingly.
