OK everyone, I have some feelings about October. Even though it has Halloween, which we all know is the best holiday because it involves costumes, Shakespeare didn't mention October in any of his plays or sonnets. So it's probably the worst month. I'm very sorry if you're an October baby. Especially since that means there's about a 2/3rds chance you're a Libra. Unfortunate.

I'll book us something at the sauna because I need some spa time. Plus we should have our skin GLOWING for the Halloween dance. We need to be on top of this sort of thing. Also, have you heard any other murmurings about costumes for other people? I want to keep an eye on things, you know. For posterity's sake.

By the way, I'm going to make your (red riding) hood sparkle a bit. It'll be PERFECTION.

I did a tarot reading today, you know, to practise outside of class, and it said that everyone has been dissatisfied recently, and currently things are just terrible and people are dealing with a bunch of rejection (did someone reject a date offer? Do you know? Who was it?). But then that everyone is going to stop caring because we're all going to hit rock bottom, so we should really just all try to be fair about it (is someone trying to steal someone's date? Do you know? Who is it?). All around us there's lots of working together (I guess to stop caring) and also that everyone is really hoping for prosperity but in the end they're just going to be disappointed.

So. Does that mean the Halloween dance is going to be lacklustre? Have I interpreted this correctly? Because to me that just sounds like dissatisfaction with the date auctions and the dance. Does that mean everyone is going to have crappy dates? Ideally you won't have a crappy date; I suppose Evangeline has a certain charm to her hair, at least. More to the point, this reading just seems lame not overly informative. Who cares about people being sad about the dance? I feel like with scrying I have better luck, you know, but with the cards I just always get some stupidly boring crap less than engaging predictions. How do I fix this? Do you think Mr. Chettri has noticed? How big of a problem is this?

Oh, also, you need to stop wearing so much black.

[...] So? [...] Shakespeare mentioned every other month specifically? Except October?

[Rupert]

What day were you thinking? [...] I'll come, of course. I'd like to GLOW. But knowing ahead of time helps. And, no, I haven't heard much about other costumes. I'll listen, though. Do you think there will be a lot of pair costumes because of the auction?

Will you sparkle too, Mr. Wolf? I don't want to sparkle by myself.

Probably. I would never question Shakespeare.

[Rupert]

I don't kn Let me check my calend [...] Monday is perfect!

I will. Are you worried about what the others are doing? I don't think there's an actual contest.

That makes sense. I'll trust your sparkle judgment. [...] I can still wear my regular makeup, right?

Thank you, Ru. ♥

Don't worry too much. I doubt anyone will. And if they do, they do. But you're putting ours together, so I know they'll look great!

[...] Dramatic how?

No worries here. I promise.

[...] I'll see what I can do. What about you? Time to get out the crepe hair?
