OKAY. But should really SPY on Spence's date is what I'm wondering?

Absolutely. He uses simple Bulgarian words in place of their English counterparts. I can only think of three possible explanations. First, he believes I know Bulgarian — highly unlikely. Second, he does it for "color." I think the problem there speaks for itself. Or, lastly, he's deliberately obfuscating.

Q.E.D., suspicious.

Or he's shy and he wusses out when he's in the middle of a sentence? Ebonhides and socializing don't always go together. If Phi could get away with that, she TOTALLY would.
