In an attempt to get some uninterrupted time to themselves, Bianca and Milo promised each other saturday nights were going to be just theirs from now on. Aside from that, they didn't have any solid plan on what they were doing that night, but Bianca made sure to dress in a warm sweater before going out to meet her boyfriend by the Ribbonfin camp fire.

"Milo!" she called out in an excited squeal before running full force at him. When her body crashed into his she immediately leapt up and snaked her limbs around the tall boy, planting a firm kiss on his mouth. "Wanna be sappy and stargaze by the lake?"

Bianca quickly shook her head. "No. It makes me a little claustrophobic even thinking about it, honestly. You have to travel in some confined tin can for hours just to end up on another tin can that's just floating around out there, which doesn't seem to look any roomier. Dying in space doesn't sound very good either." She shuddered and frowned, glad it wasn't something she would ever have to consider. Alaska was cold, but space was dark and even colder. "I also couldn't leave you. No view from space would be worth that." It suddenly struck her how desperate that sounded and she looked down in embarrassment, hoping he couldn't see how red her face was turning. She'd become so attached to him in just the few months they'd been together that it sometimes scared her. She knew Milo shared the same feelings, she just feared they'd change.

"Do you think--" she paused and sighed, her hands balling into fists in front of her. "Can you see us together for a long time?"

"All very valid points for me too. Plus the break in my routine would cause me way too much anxiety." Milo knew he probably shouldn't admit to something as uncool or unmanly as that, but he trusted Bianca wouldn't judge him harshly. They'd been together for a few months now, but it felt like much longer. It felt like he'd known her forever. He caught how red her face was, and a smile formed on his lips. Tilting her head up gently, he booped her nose as he grinned. "I'd never want to leave you either, you know. Who would say such sweet things to me?"

Nestling his arm around her, he looked over as she seemed a little tense. Her question surprised him, but Milo didn't look like it surprised him in a bad way. "I actually can," he answered honestly. "Is that sad?"

"Maybe they'd send a chimpanzee to keep you company," she teased before scooting closer.

It was a relief to be reassured once again that the two of them were on the same page. She felt annoyingly needy when she'd ask for it, but it truly helped ease her mind from anxious thoughts and paranoia. "There's absolutely nothing sad about you wanting to be with me as much as I want to be with you. Do you think forever would be too long, though?" She signed, letting out a nervous laugh that she hoped he couldn't pick up on. She'd never told him that she often thought of them getting a place together after school, and possibly even getting married sometime after that. That could be thinking too far ahead, they hadn't even exchanged 'I love yous' or anything yet (which was constantly swirling around in her head lately), but it was something she truly hoped for one day.
