Um, yeah. Her name's Pearl and she's kind of mean [...] the ghost that helped us find Diego and Jade last year before I lost Diego aga. She was m Lucas tried [...] I gave her the compass that Mina and Diego gave me for my birthday last year but I guess she didn't like it much because she gave it back when I gave her my mittens.

I'm really bad at lying, but there was no way I was going to let them take my compass. But I think someone recognized it so they let me keep it? Jade tried to help me be better at lying last year, but mostly she told me just to not say anything because I'm so bad at lying.

It's REALLY COOL that she gave it back?? Since it was a birthday present?? And if she's not USING it it's REALLY only polite!! Hopefully the ghost things DON'T make people sick because Do you think she gives back ALL the things she doesn't like?? Or just KEEPS trading??

If they tried to take it then it wouldn't REALLY be lying to say it was yours!! The teachers PROBABLY don't know you gave it to her??
