Lachlan is particular about the placement and organization of things so walking in to see things shuffled around and out of their usual places probably just threw him out of his comfort zone and made him anxious? Knowing him, he'll probably stress clean and reorganize things to regain some sense of control... But he'll be fine! Accidents happen and he knows that. I doubt he's upset with you, just at the situation.

I think the best way to help is just to not help? Lachlan likes to be in control of things and now he probably feels like that's been taken from him, so just let him fix things to his own liking. I know you'll probably want to step in and help, but sometimes that makes things heaps worse... It becomes... extra work? Extra work because he has to follow behind you and fix whatever you've changed. And usually that's not a problem but when his tension is high like this, the task feels more stressful than it should be? I get like that about some things too... It frustrates me to tears sometimes. He probably feels similarly.

I make clothes for Newt and Lady Cecilia all the time! Lady Cecilia likes to eat her clothes too. It's just the inevitability of trying to put clothes on pets.

I'll help you, but my one condition is that we have to make them together!
