| This whole ghost bride thing is getting REALLY out of hand, in Todd's opinion. Sure, she didn't actually lock Bianca in the basement, but she could have, and that's what bothers him. People go into the basement for event committee all the time. If they're all gonna be targets, he's gotta... talk to Molly about not spooking people. Or something. So, no, maybe going down here by himself wasn't the smartest idea. And maybe he's not feeling 100% great about it. But also, it's starting to seem like it's going to be a necessity. Probably better to rip the band-aid off than wait around until something actually bad happens. Before Hazel or any of the prefects can tell him not to, he quickly returns to the Lodge. Better to ask forgiveness than permission when it comes to ghost shenanigans. Thankfully, he also doesn't run into any of the feds on his way to the storage basement. It's only as he's heading down the stairs that he begins to regret his decisions. Not just this decision, but like, all of them. How did he even get to this point in his life? Holding his wand up for extra light, he awkwardly shuffles forward to the door. Should he, like, knock on the basement door? Molly lives down here, kind of. (God, he can't even cast a patronus. This was stupid of him.) Would it be rude to just barge in? He's so focused on trying to figure out what the best etiquette is for calling on a ghost that he's completely ignorant of the possibility that one of his non-dead classmates might have followed him down here. |

"Todd!" He shouts, and then gives up on talking for a second or two as he catches his breath. He looks decidedly less mellow and cool than he usually does, but he maintains his swagger as he walks down the hall to the supposedly haunted door. It is a little intimidating down here. "What... the hell... are you doing?"
