[Warded to Ribbonfins]
Is it just me, or are there even more parties this year than there have been in the past?

I can't tell if it's that, or just a more liberal use of the word "party."
browbeats: ((?) say what?)

[personal profile] browbeats 2016-10-19 08:53 pm (UTC)(link)
What's the latest one, the crafting party?Let's throw glitter and glue and fabric scraps everywhere that three people have to clean it up later, that sounds like a party. Or are there new and improved parties I haven't heard about?

I always did suspect there were more parties going on that the ones I hear about. I mean, there's no way someone like me is getting invited to all the parties.
browbeats: ((=) researching)

[personal profile] browbeats 2016-10-19 09:25 pm (UTC)(link)
But you're practically our King of Parties, Rav.
knightly: (🐟 27)

[personal profile] knightly 2016-10-19 09:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, only as far as Ribbonfin is concerned.

...Oh my god, I am King of Parties as far as Ribbonfin is concerned. I mean it's not hard to claim the title with Isaiah as your roommate but... Really? Have we always been so [...] well-behaved?
knightly: (🐟 28)

[personal profile] knightly 2016-10-19 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
And I love how level-headed and diplomatic our house is! Especially diplomatic, as everyone now implies I've been the most... venturesome Ribbonfin this year. Oh my god how did I

This can't be right. I can't be the most irresponsible member of our cabin.
browbeats: ((=) downcast)

[personal profile] browbeats 2016-10-19 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Tell us what it's like to be so carefree. It sounds wonderful.

I'd ask you to come out to the next party with me, but I don't think anyone's being allowed out for awhile except for teacher-supervised parties.

Which is fine with me. This school has had quite enough excitement for just less than two months.

In three years time, when we're finally allowed to walk around without a buddy, then maybe I'll make it out to a party.

[personal profile] colemoss 2016-10-19 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
don't worry. that's probably me?

i mean, you've got me beat on kissing and stuff, but i miss class and curfew and stuff all the time? calvin says i'm totally irresponsible.

[personal profile] colemoss 2016-10-19 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
oh. cabin. i guess it might be you, then?

[identity profile] evercreep.insanejournal.com 2016-10-19 09:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Or maybe you've been poorly behaved? Everyone did see you snog that Azurcrest at the Grotto.
puphart: (15; that's some rank deer)

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
What's "snog" mean?
puphart: (54; oh-hooooo!!)

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 10:03 pm (UTC)(link)
[...]

OH.

DON'T WORRY, RAVI! I didn't see that, so NOT EVERYBODY saw you "snogging" that person! (Your secret is safe with me!!)
knightly: (🐟 86)

[personal profile] knightly 2016-10-19 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)

Thank you, Kurt.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with "snogging" so long as all parties agree to it, so... this wasn't exactly a secret. Or anything. It's fine. Thank you.

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 10:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh. Okay! ... Congratulations, then? I guess?

I mean, that was... the rules of the game. 7 Minutes In Heaven. And it was very [...] impersonal, as far as playing these kinds of games go. I mean, Diego he there was a lot of kissing happening that night, so.

[personal profile] knightly 2016-10-19 09:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I wish I had the numbers to answer this question, but before this year, my response to the word "party" was always "have fun and please don't set anything on fire."

...Actually, that's still my response. Hm.
puphart: (36; doyyyyy)

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Ravi, don't get mad... but at our last party... we set a lot of things on fire. Probably dozens, or even a hundred.
knightly: (🐟 78)

[personal profile] knightly 2016-10-19 10:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, of course, but a prefect-regulated inferno is a different matter altogether. We kept all of that burning within acceptable safety standards.
puphart: (20; did you see that? (Y))

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 10:05 pm (UTC)(link)
That's my ten minutes of yearly rebellion out of the way!
puphart: (90; more disbelief. again)

[personal profile] puphart 2016-10-19 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I guess I never paid attention to them before. How many are there usually? I've only heard about two really big parties so far. And our campfire one. Is that a lot? I always thought I was missing a lot more than three
