Is it just me, or are there even more parties this year than there have been in the past?

I can't tell if it's that, or just a more liberal use of the word "party."

Perhaps a little bit of both.

What's the latest one, the crafting party?~~Let's throw glitter and glue and fabric scraps everywhere that three people have to clean it up later, that sounds like a party.~~ Or are there new and improved parties I haven't heard about?

I always did suspect there were more parties going on that the ones I hear about. I mean, there's no way someone like me is getting invited to all the parties.

And I love how level-headed and diplomatic our house is! Especially diplomatic, as everyone now implies I've been the most... venturesome Ribbonfin this year. ~~Oh my god how did I~~

I'd ask you to come out to the next party with me, but I don't think anyone's being allowed out for awhile except for teacher-supervised parties.

Which is fine with me. This school has had quite enough excitement for just less than two months.

In three years time, when we're finally allowed to walk around without a buddy, then maybe I'll make it out to a party.

There is, of course, nothing wrong with "snogging" so long as all parties agree to it, so... this wasn't exactly a secret. Or anything. It's fine. Thank you.

I wish I had the numbers to answer this question, but before this year, my response to the word "party" was always "have fun and please don't set anything on fire."

...Actually, that's still my response. Hm.

Ravi, don't get mad... but at our last party... we set a lot of things on fire. Probably dozens, or even a hundred.

Oh, of course, but a prefect-regulated inferno is a different matter altogether. We kept all of that burning within acceptable safety standards.

That's my ten minutes of yearly rebellion out of the way!

I guess I never paid attention to them before. How many are there usually? I've only heard about two really big parties so far. And our campfire one. Is that a lot? ~~I always thought I was missing a lot more than three~~
