Leaving Gifts for the Dead Kids

Anon's disappointment over not being able to attend the dance was absolutely heartbreaking. Ennis and Chloe had already planned to do something nice for the entities for Halloween, but now they really needed to make up for the dance to mend Anon's heartache. Ennis decided to approach Yancey, the other talented artist in their year, to recruit him for their cause.

Even if the entities weren't allowed at the human dance, they still deserved a nice event of their own.

HOW THIS WORKS

• Chloe, Yancey, and Ennis worked all week long on costume pieces and Halloween decorations.


• After crafting club on Friday the 27th, the three returned to their campsite to retrieve their items and headed into the forest near Ribbonfin while everyone was at dinner.


• Satisfied with their work, they headed back to the lodge so that Ennis could prepare them a late dinner. Good job sticking it to The Man, everyone!!

Ennis leaves:

Treat bags filled with baked goods for Anon, Brother, and the kids written on this list (plus Molly). Their names are written neatly on the tops of the bags. He's going to feel like a total asshole when he finds out that Henry doesn't have a mouth. Or a head, for that matter.

Four pumpkins with forest motifs carved into them. He was able to use magic and so the process was a lot quicker and neater than manually carving in the contest. The fifth pumpkin has an image similar to this carved and painted onto it. They're lit with magic as to not burn the entire forest down.

Costume sets, made of old, abandoned projects and new pieces made specifically for the kids:

A black cat.

Big Bird.

Red Riding Hood.

A ghost...

A guilty pleasure ghost.

Juice demon.
