Are you all ready for the game? I have been thinking a lot about it, and I think our focus should be on playing smart and playing as a unit. It worked really well for the start of our last game! Coppertale plays a little more aggressively than other teams, and some of them are a little more wild because of it. We can lean more on our coordination than they can, so I think we have a good chance of keeping control of the Quaffle if we keep that up. At practice Saturday we will do some usual drills (with focus on keeping control of the Quaffle for Chasers and trying to disrupting passes for the Beaters), but we will finish up with some exploding Quaffle Hot Potato, to get in a relaxed mental place for the game Sunday!

Also, along with helping Essie get ready for Coppertale glares, does anyone want extra help with anything?? I have a lot of free time ~~because I am sick of studying~~, so I am happy to help anyone work on anything specific to their position before the game! We should go running tomorrow morning too.

Outside of all of the planning and work and tactics and stuff... I want you to all to remember that you work very hard and you are good at what you do. Last game really showed us how strong we can be, and we should always keep that in mind. If we stay focused and work together we will do great! Do not worry about the fact that Coppertale can seem kind of scary, or that you really want to win, or that someone might get hurt - that is all part of the game, and in the end we will go play our best. And remember - do not let things get you down during the game! If something goes wrong we just pick ourselves up again, yeah? Because we can recover if we just keep our heads up!

Well. I like museums but [...] there's Champs-Élysées, where you can do a lot of shopping, and the Île Saint-Louis is well known for music and street performers. And Berthillon ice cream. And there's the Saint-Louis-en-l'Île Church. I've heard there's a nightlife too but I don't know much about that.

I was googling about Paris nightlife while I was in New York! I have screenshots of lists on my phone we can look through?

Theres this one party bar called La Frange that's sort of geek-themed and looks like a lot of fun.

Oh yeah!! I should use the internet to find some more things. I would like to see what you have found, though! We should definitely go do something fun at night.

I KIND OF want to practice outside shots more?? I don't want to rely on being like SUPER close or having a PERFECT shot all the time and they MIGHT think if they can just like BOX US OUT they can slow down our scoring???
