Since we did bonding, guess what?? I finished my Azurcrest scarf. It's a little weird looking but I'm totally bringing it to Osaka!! !!アズークレスト!!

Been learning Japanese?

Yeah!! I learned how to read hiragana and katakana. But obviously I don't know what things actually mean. And I know like [...] three kanji. It's super cool!

kanji is the worst

They're so interesting, though! But yeah [...] hard. It's taken me forever just to get these ones? I think I can guess at others if I've seen them enough times before, but then I never remember how to write or visualize them when I try on my own.

I speak a little but I can't write it at all so I'm still impressed

I feel like I'm never as good at speaking if I try a new language. Maybe our learning styles are different?
