Well, I gotta say, not only was the concept of a class trip pretty great but I'm also glad we got to go to Paris. It was awesome.

And no, Ree, I didn't get into any arguments with French people about French!

Turns out the Frenchies I met were more into using their language to try and crack jokes about Anglophones. Who knew?

Surprising. I've heard Parisians refuse to speak to Québécois in French.

In my experience it's more non-Francophones they refuse to speak to in French. With non-French Francophones they think theirs is the superior dialect, sure, but they'll at least use it. If a non-native speaker speaks poor French they'll just use English right back.
