Who: Karen & Oscar Zabinsky
When: Thursday after class
Where: Azurcrest
What: Sibling bonding
Warnings: 2 cute.
He could NOT believe he finally did it! Now that he had gotten it, it seemed painfully obvious how to do it. He'd just never had the proper mindset and determination before now, and after days of focusing on basically nothing else, he'd done it. Now, wanting to show it off to his sister, the transformation came a bit more easily. He was extremely determined and knowing all the right little things to do made this second transformation far easier than the first one, though it still took a bit of time before he was a full, adorable little pup. Although he wondered what that meant about him (small? uncoordinated? cute but dumb? annoying?lovable?) he didn't think on it all too hard. He was just happy to be able to turn into something.
Although he propped the door open, Oscar wanted to surprise Karen so after he finally managed to transform again, he pushed the door open with his nose and then pushed it back shut so that he didn't let all the cold in. Having all this fur (a ridiculous amount, really), meant that he was totally warm outside without any extra help. He did remember to add on some layers before he changed, though, because he wasn't going to stay a corgi the whole time and didn't want to be cold when he figured out his way back into human form.
Dashing out into the snow, he barked happily and jumped into snow piles as he waited for Karen.

Karen's question was answered pretty quickly. A huge grin appeared on her face as she watched a little corgi jumping around in piles of snow. An actual squeal came from Karen, and those were rare, they were too girly for her she would say. But here she was squealing with glee over this cuteness and her hands clapped together making the muffled sound of gloved clapping. "Oh my goodness! You are too cute."

Getting up with -oh so much grace-, Oscar yipped happily and ran circles around her for a minute or two. He was so proud of himself, and it showed on the corgi-form. They were goofy looking dogs but he seriously looked like he had just saved a girl from the well or something. He would totally let her pet him for a few minutes or whatever before becoming human again. He tilted his head to the side, his tongue lolled out and he had a definitely, PRETTY COOl, EH? look on his little doggo face.

Karen sort of spun in circles trying to watch him as he ran around her. Eventually reaching down to pet him. That was a strange thought, petting a sibling as a dog. Whatever, corgi Oz deserved to be pet. "Good boy," she couldn't help but say it in a babyish voice one uses when talking to dogs. "This is so cool," Karen responded just knowing what that look was trying to express. "Gosh, wish I could do something like this." Karen wasn't so sure she would be capable, but she was considering it for next year. "Ah, so cool!"

"You totally could if you wanted to. Never too late to get into Animagus Studies, really. I know some people who joined in junior year and made transformations you know? You're smart and everything too, and now you have me who has totally done it that I can help teach you." He was really excited, both to be a corgi, have made his transformation, and of course to be spending time with Karen. "Want to go grab some hot chocolate? I can tell you all about my first transformation in excruciating, probably very boring detail?"

Pleased to return back to the norm of looking up at her brother she grinned. "Yeah, I guess I'll think about it. See how stressed out I get this year first." Karen didn't want to take on too much, she was never good at handling her stress. She was more likely to drop everything and just draw. "Um, yes I will never say no to hot chocolate you know that. And I want to know the very boring details. What else are sisters for, huh."

Oscar let out a loud almost bark of a laugh and nodded his head. "Oh well, perpetually annoying their older brothers, stealing all the good candy, eating the last of my favorite snacks you know, basic little sister things. Embarrassing me in front of my friends." Not that she had ever done those things as she very well knew. "You know, all the stuff you totally could do but never do because you're way too nice to me." He made sure to keep up a good pace but walked fairly slow. His long legs both out-walked hers and were prone to going in the wrong direction and causing him to trip if he tried to walk too quickly.
"Don't forget about study groups. I mean, don't get in study groups with people who are SUPER into studying because that can be really intense and makes it even harder to study you know? But cool people, who are just good at some classes and can totally help. Like Addy, or something. Saira is kind of terrifying when it comes to studying. You sophomores are like a whole new breed of scary." He teased, nudging her a bit with his elbow.

Karen raised an eyebrow as he listed off all the basic little sister things. "Uh huh, good save," Karen laughed a little pleased that he was walking at a speed her shorter legs could keep up with. "I am the best little sister anyone could ask for." Even though she was sure she had done at least some of those things at least once but not with the intention to annoy him.
"Yeah, Pandora is kind of a lot when it comes to study groups but she says she will make it fun." Karen shrugged not sure you could make studying that much fun. "Though how are we a new breed of scary? Huh?" She nudged him back a little.

Oscar nodded his head as they made their way towards the lodge. "You are definitely the best sister anyone could ask for. I wouldn't even dream of arguing." He agreed whole-heartedly, putting his arm around her in a quick side-squeeze of a hug.
"Yeah. She's kind of like her brother. A bit much at times but overall a pretty cool person." At least, that's what he figured because he didn't know either all that well and was basing this very important Big Brother Knowledge on what he'd observed in passing. "What!? How can you NOT see how scary you tiny terrors are? All mad scientists, boisterous, loud, totally ready to fight anyone who talks crap about their friends. It's impressive."
no subject
"Well thank you," she smiled and leaned into the side-squeeze. "You aren't too bad a brother yourself." She tried to play it down a little when really he was what kept her sane when she was younger.
"I think they just want to define their place or something?" Karen shrugged, "I guess I just have handled them for an entire year. Though some of them are a bit over the top at times. I dunno, weren't you guys like that when you were trying to figure out your place in school after being new freshman?" Karen wasn't sure if it was so easy as all that but she would try and see it that way for now and that her fellow classmates weren't just crazy tiny terrors.
