Calvin leans over curiously to see what Tristan means... and then rolls his eyes at the joke. He pushes the note and Tristan's hands away (gently), trying desperately to hide his growing embarrassment. Tristan's liable to assail him with sugar-themed nicknames if he doesn't change the subject quickly.

"You think I have the galleons to be someone's sugar daddy?" He says the last two words as though they physically pain him. He's almost certainly never said this phrase before in his life. "Whoever ends up with me best be ready to pay their own way. But you? You're bein' hunted for your pedigree and French charms. Watch out, Gascoigne."
