[Ennis has been working under his bunk with his privacy curtain drawn since he returned from his last final. If anyone's awake, they may notice a dim light from under his curtain when it occasionally moves, but not a single sound comes from his area.]

I'm really sorry to ask this, but do you think I could have the cabin to myself for a couple hours tomorrow? Or... I reckon today, when you wake up? I haven't gone to sleep yet.

It's not for anything gross questionable. Some of my masquerade plans changed and I have to finish a different set I was working on. I don't want people to see so I don't want to work on it in Rudiments and it's getting real cramped under my bunk.

I'm so sorry. I wouldn't inconvenience you if it didn't matter this much to me.
