January 2nd

• Welcome back from break! Your new president isn't going to make a major announcement or anything, but if anyone has any questions or concerns... you can probably bring them to him? And he will go straight to Ms. Whittle so she can handle it.


• Guess Who is even better with magic! Theoretically. Until you find out that all the faces have rivalries, rich backstories and very strong opinions. Noel ends up spending the better part of the night consoling Susan, who says she's so much more than just a pretty face!!!

January 9th

• Monopoly is now banned from Gaming Club. Thanks a lot, Gwen.

January 16th

• Oscar has mastered the Wii's quirky controller and spends the session taking on all comers in Wii Bowling. Suck on these strikes, losers!

January 23rd

• D&D group Crit & Run has a major battle today, and it takes way longer than expected. They don't wrap up until twenty minutes after the Lodge closes, and only because they were rudely rushed.

January 30th

• The Noise Level Wars get unexpectedly tense, and Austin is forced to designate Quiet Zones in the atrium. With the help of an Area Muffling Charm, you chess nerds can finally focus.

MINUTIAE

• Gaming Club meets every Tuesday in the Atrium at 7:00 PM.


• The Gaming Club members list is here, though Austin will never take attendance and never kick out drop-ins. Only members can participate in tournaments, though.


• This is very low-key, unstructured and optional calendar that should be posted on the first Tuesday of the month. If you want to scene anything, whether it's one of the events referenced above or just a chill Tuesday night in the lodge, feel free to do it here. There will be a link to each one in Austin's journal if you want to come here for reference or for a random scene in the middle of the month.

I have a very strong memory of being six years old and on like the second day of a three day power outage, playing monopoly with my mom and sisters, and my mom bankrupted me and gloated so hard I cried.

My mom is fucking hardcore.
