It's polite to get to know your neighbors. And while I certainly don't condone going out of your way to introduce yourselves to the people unliving nearby, I do think that knowing their names might [...] afford you some protection, if they seem particularly upset. The sweetest sound is your own name, after all. My thanks to Ms. Petrichor for the information.

So, if anyone sees the crying boy - the one ~~missing most of his neck~~ who was throwing pine cones earlier this year, be sure to call him Charles when you tell him to cut it out. Charles Ingall.
