Congratulations to all our athletically inclined students who made the school teams as well as everyone brave enough to attend tryouts.

Speaking of bravery, the Talent Show is in just a little over two weeks from now, so I hope everyone's got an act in mind and has been practicing. If showing off in front of your friends and family isn't enough incentive, don't forget that last year's show included prizes such as charmed two-way mirrors, a probity probe, and a brand new [...] broom. No details of this year's prizes have been released yet, but I'm certain they're comparable. Please don't let the only act this year be Casey and Riley twerking.

I'd also like to encourage the various clubs to put on small exhibitions for the parents while they visit, so we can all show off what we're doing when we're not buried under a pile of homework. If anyone has further ideas for entertainment while our families are visiting, I'd be happy to pass them along to Mr. Hightower.
