The senior prefects leave for one day and Sy decides it's a good idea to start a mud wrestling competition in this rain. He's definitely forcing Reid to participate, and BECAUSE I CAN, he's also dragging his roommates Casey and Jacob into it. (Dom, if you would like to stop this... it's too late. But hey, this will be some very responsible fun.)

THIS IS HAPPENING AT COPPERTALE CAMPGROUND. THERE'S A LOT OF MUD ON THE GROUND AND A LOT OF TESTOSTERONE IN THE BOYS. And girls too, if they'd like to participate. They should fuckin participate. Do it for Riley.

WE NEED: wrestlers, people who will cast warming charms so no one catches a cold, judges (basically everyone just yell out your score), spectators (I mean, you need a buddy to come to Coppertale, so THE MORE THE MERRIER)

On principle, Kurt is a non-violent person. He abhors violence. He sabotaged his archery entry, for Merlin's sake.

But Kurt also has a lot on his mind and he has no idea how to express it or work through it, so somewhere in the second half of the evening, it suddenly seems like a really good idea to try wrestling. It's a thing that his friends and peers are doing. It looks like a normal thing... or at least normal, in Gooseberry terms. It seems like something New Kurt would try at least once, if even so that he can look back on it in twenty years and recall, "Oh, yeah. I done wrestled once."

So, Kurt put his name in.

Okay, so. Casper's participation in this should surprise no one. The possibility of getting to go up against Sy is just a bonus. Yes, he's still mad.

Once she even catches glimpse of any sort of physical fighting being planned in the journals, Sylla is pretty much out the door getting whoever she can to go watch with her. She stands at the sides primly under her umbrella in her wellies and coat watching with a gleeful enthusiasm to see who bleeds first.

She is also casting warming charms and helping people get cleaned off and making sure no one actually starts bleeding, she will step the fuck in if she thinks it gets too serious. Don't ruin this, you guys, we have to show Mom and Dad we're responsible.

Mud wrestling is totally part of the OE curriculum, right? And wrestling classmates is safer than wrestling bears or crocodiles. So, whatever.

Ursula is there primarily to spectate and judge because these decorations are still not charming themselves. (Don't worry, everything is being protected from the elements since she actually had a chance to prepare before being dumped in the rain.) Buuuuut... let's be real, there's not a lot of actual multitasking going on.

I think I'll say that Dom spent the night in the hospital wing for some unknown reason, as there's no way he'd not want to kick Sy's ass over this and I lack the mental energy to come up with another solution right now :-P
