I can't believe I'm saying this, but healthy communication skills are probably going to be easier to teach everyone than Occlumency. If we all just talk to each other and stay on the same page they're losing a huge arrow out of their quiver.

I was thinking something like a protean charm to distinguish us from them, but if they can shapeshift including our clothes and possessions, they might be able to imitate that too.

They can copy anything. But you are right, Reece. They can't trick you by being different from your friends, by acting out of character. If we listen to each other, if we believe in our friends, [....] that's a big arrow out of their quiver.
