Each person gets to pick a charm bracelet. The bracelets' charms, which split in two pieces, say things like "Best Friends," "Friends Forever," "True Love," "Love Always," "Mine/Yours" and "Barely Tolerable." They glow when reunited with their pair.

"You're a dickhead," Sy informs him, sans punching. But he takes the other bracelet anyway, and shoves it into the pocket of his letter jacket, when he keeps Rosy's coin.
