Character: Tabitha Ogletree Are they in Drama Club?: Yep! Preferred Roles: Helena, but she'd be open to any role that people think suits her. Their Audition: It's noticeable that Tabitha performs Shakespeare in very much the more modern, natural way than the traditional, formally trained manner of old school Shakesperean actors. She has a vulnerability and gentle sadness to her acting which lends herself more to a certain type of character, and her vocal delivery is softly spoken but nonetheless clear and audible. For her audition, she uses Helena's speech from Act 1, Scene 1 - "Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind" etc, and she puts a lot of feeling into it. It clearly has quite a bit of an effect in her, though, because she has to pause for a moment a couple of times before carrying on (but hey, at least this goes with the 'natural' style she's going for? She hopes so, anyway!) Rating: 9. She gave the performance of her life, but definitely stumbled on the odd line or two. She'll beat herself up over that, though.
