JD isn't the kind of person to back down from a dare, and she also knows enough about Ophelia to know that getting rejected in front of every girl in school would hurt her feelings, so it's a bad time for JD to have the errant realization that she's never actually kissed... anybody... ever. She's not a big romantic or anything, but she does have a pang of guilt when she realizes that she definitely wants her first kiss to be a real one, and not just because she got drunk at a Grotto party and decided to try her brother's idea of fun on for size.

"Oh," she says as Ophelia approaches her, looking more than a little tipsy herself, crawling on her knees and with her bright red hair all over the place. "Uhmmm," she hums in response to Ophelia's warning, not really sure what to say now.
