March in Crafting Club

March 2nd

Today's craft is mosaics! Made from small pieces of stone, tile, or glass arranged to create an image, this craft is suited to the patient and detail-oriented. Cole and Ree provide all of the necessary supplies, demonstrate a spell that will cure the glue instantly (so people don't have to wait overnight to complete their craft!), and are available to help with designs.
[Character A] cleverly charms the pieces of glass used in their mosaic to light up when touched, resulting in a vibrantly colorful display. Well done, [Character A]!
[Character B] less cleverly charms their mosaic to move. It's quite impressive until the [mosaic animal of choice] featured in the piece becomes bored with the endless loop and begins huffing and slouching around the mosaic. This is clearly beneath it!!

March 9th

Today is a Free Day! Club members can finish up on crafts from last week, work on independent projects, or collaborate with other club members.
[Character C] makes a glorious [craft of choice]! But they also make a glorious mess and duck out rather than cleaning it up. Rude! Unable to identify the culprit, Cole, Ree, and Georgiana Mills are left to clean it up the mess.

March 16th

Today's craft is papier-mâché! While the club already has extensive experience with papier-mâché after creating the Halloween Tree as a group back in October, this is the first time they've had the chance to make their own projects. Time to try something new! Versatile and accessible, students can make just about anything they can think up. As always, all the necessary supplies are available and so are instructions for a few sample projects. Get to it!
[Character E] creates a well-made but frankly terrifying mask. Did you really have to charm it to shriek when people get close to it, [Character E]? [Character F] just about jumped out of their skin.
At least Chloe Shepherd's recreation of their familiar is pretty adorable!

March 23rd

Today is a Free Day! Club members can finish up on crafts from last week, work on independent projects, or collaborate with other club members.
Not wanting to be outdone by Coppertale, [Ebonhide Character H] spends their crafting time making origami bears of all colors, patterns, and styles in preperation for Sunday's game. They may even recruit other Ebonhides to join them. Also not wanting to be outdone, Hazel Keating begins making origami foxes that yip. They may recruit other Coppertales to join them. Yikes! It's getting a little tense in here.

March 30th

Crafting Club is cancelled for Spring Break!

Crafting Club meets every Friday in the Artificing Classroom at 4:30 PM.
The Crafting Club members list is here and basic club information is here, including a list of previously done crafts and events. Cole does not take attendance but he does know who's a member and who isn't.
A calendar will be posted on the ~~first Friday of the month~~ I'm posting early cause tomorrow might be busy sorrrry to outline club activities. On occasion, standalone posts may go up if they're requested or an event is big enough but this will be the plan going forward otherwise. Scenes can be done below as desired and events can be referenced elsewhere in the game too. Have fun~!
As always, suggestions for crafts or events can be left in the Crafting Club Dropbox or brought up to Cole IC.
