SECRET STUDENT SEANCE

Drama Club president Micah St. Clair makes sure the auditorium is cleared out in the evening, in time for a secret seance involving select members of the junior class. Their goal: to enlist the help of Gooseberry's ghost children in monitoring the MACUSA presence. The Living Kids–Dead Kids Alliance is a go!

When the crew sneak one by one into the auditorium, they'll find a large table set up onstage, the same one from the winter play, complete with a black tablecloth and an old Ouija board in the center. White candles on tall candelabras (also repurposed stage props) surround the table for some ~mood lighting~, and Micah orders everyone into their seats and the lights turned down low as they set up to contact the spirits. Zachary Zheng is stationed outside the main entrance to the auditorium, tasked with keeping any inquistive students/teachers/Aurors from poking their heads in.

HOW THIS WORKS

The seance starts at 7 PM and will last one or two hours, depending on how things go. The kids will get out in time for the lodge to close for the night.

This IC/OOC is only open to Ari, Bash, Calvin, Cole, Essie, Fern, Hazel, Jade, Jeffy, Lucas, Micah, and Zach.

Everyone will be allowed to keep asking questions until 8 PM MT*, at which point the seance will end. *If we decide to extend the seance for an hour, we'll make note of it in the OOC section.

As this is happening before curfew and not in a forbidden area, no one is breaking the rules. However, staff still frowns upon trying to contact the ghosts, so if anyone is caught at this, they may receive a stern talking to.

Absolutely not what Hazel wanted to hear - even a 'Yes' that she refused to believe would be better than this. Because this feels like it's probably true. "Great. Do any of you want to, like, seriously hurt us?"

The planchette wavers for a moment, as though... hesitant? Scared?

SHE.

There's a long pause because Hazel's heart leaps into her throat, but she does finally find her voice again. "Who? Which 'she'?" Maybe she's not as over her ghost fears as she thought she was.

The planchette moves to the letter C and waits there. "C"? How many ghosts have a name that starts with the letter "C"...?

Then it runs through the rest of the name, almost too fast to follow: CELENA.

"Celena?" Hazel murmurs the name out loud absently, looking between the other seance members. It rings no bells, but it's not Florence, at least. "Have we met her before?" She tries, after a moment.
