Three facts about pi on Pi Day:
[Bash]
May I ask you a favor?
[Cole]
I read your broken ward entry. I apologize that my curiosity got the best of me. Can we talk about it?
[Zach]
I need your help with [...] an experiment.
[Solo]
I apologize, but I did read some of what you said when the wards broke. Iβd like to talk with you about it.
- The first known pi-partying day was in 1988 at the San Francisco-based Exploratorium science museum, where staff and visitors had a circular parade. However, the day became an official national event in 2009, when the House of Representatives passed Resolution 224 in an attempt to increase interest in math and science.
- Chao Lu holds the official world record for reciting the greatest number of digits of pi, to 67,890 places in 2005.
- The ancient Babylonians knew of pi's existence nearly 4,000 years ago, demonstrated in a tablet that calculates pi as 3.125. The Greek mathematician Archimedes (287-212 B.C.) approximated pi using the Pythagorean theorem, a geometric relationship between the length of a triangle's sides and the area of the polygons inside and outside of circles.

Is it BAD that I'm ready to agree before I even ASK what the experiment is?

[Zach]
Possibly, in this instance.
