Depends on how drunk they get. Floo's an option if you can speak clear enough. They can get picked up by somebody, or someone sober maybe offers to escort them home. There's usually a few good, sober souls. Lots of people just stay the night, though. Better than taking the risk drunk, and there's plenty of space.
